Major Changes
Low chemistry has no negative effect on properties.
The chemistry of the entire squad has been removed. Individual player chemistry is the focus.
Location link has been removed.
Loyalty system has been removed.
How does the new system work?
Without overall team chemistry, each player now has a maximum of three chemistry points.
Players can only add chemistry points when they play in their preferred position in the starting XI, and when the same criteria are met, they will contribute to other players.
Each player’s chemistry is then calculated by the number of players in the starting XI with the same league or country, with the same club adding an extra boost!
Chemical Point:
Club – The two increments required to reach the threshold. Two players who share a club will each receive one chemistry point.
League – Three increments are required to reach the threshold. Three players who share a league will each receive one chemistry point.
Country – The three increments required to reach the threshold. Three players who share a country will each receive one chemistry point.
Manager Bonus – One point for all players of the same nationality or league in the starting lineup.
Icons – Icons count as two increments of the country threshold. Idols always have full chemistry in Their Preferred Positions.
Heroes – Heroes count towards two increments of the alliance threshold and one increment of the country threshold. Heroes always have full chemistry in their preferred positions.

We’ll be looking at player feedback on the chemical thresholds for each of the three parameters and may make adjustments ahead of FUT 23’s release. Position
The first thing to note about the new positioning structure is that players who are out of position will not receive any chemistry boosts.
Players in poor positions also don’t affect the threshold of other players in the starting lineup.
However, players who are out of position will not see their stats negatively affected.
Substitute Position
Starting with FUT 23, each base player will have up to three alternate positions.
Your player’s position can be changed using the new all-in-one position modifier item, which replaces the single position modifier.
Each location will also have an automatic alternate location that will count toward one of its three alternate locations.
Players who appear in themed location change events can be given new preferred and alternate locations.
Formation Change
There is no front right (RF) or front left (LF) position in the FUT 23.
Any formation using RF and LF (4-3-2-1 / 3-4-2-1) has now been changed to the centre forward (CF) position.
