FUT Season 2 will feature World Cup content, and Road to Glory will be one of the best releases.
Road to Glory release date
The Road to World Cup Glory trailer will be released on Friday, November 11 at 2pm ET/6pm GMT normal time.
New promo cards will be added to the pack, and some World Cup FUT heroes will also replace the base FUT hero cards.
The event was leaked to run for two weeks, so expect to see Team 1 and then Team 2 on Friday, November 18.
After two weeks on the road to glory, the World Cup Moment campaign is expected to kick off on Friday, November 25.
The Road to World Cup Glory
Road to Glory will be the first World Cup promo of the season, and it will be a good one!
We’ve seen Path of Glory events before, most recently in FIFA 21 – in honor of Euro 2020 and Copa America – and it looks like the game will use a similar mechanism.
This means live cards will be released that will level up based on their country’s progress in the tournament.
This year, the cards will be upgraded as follows:
Initial boost at launch
+1 IF Upgrade – Advance from Group Stage
+1 IF upgrade – win round 16
5* Weak Foot Upgrade – Win Quarterfinals
5* Skill upgrades – win the semifinals
+1 IF upgrade and 3 new features – win the final
In addition to the new cards, more cards will be released through Objectives and SBC, which is common during promotions.

As the Road to Glory promo will be the first of the World Cup main event, it will also be joined by a slew of other content that will be featured throughout the event, each launching on Friday, November 11.
This will include:
– Upgraded players from 32 participating teams, offered in combos and as rewards World Cup Swaps – Much like Icon Swaps, you can earn Swaps tokens, which you can then trade with certain SBCs to get Packs, Player Picks and World Cup Stars
– Much like Icon Swap, you can earn Swap Tokens, which you can then trade with certain SBCs to get packs, player picks and World Cup Stars World Cup FUT Heroes – Upgraded versions of the base FUT Hero Cards to choose from Used by 30 players, two squads released, some of which are only available through SBC or goals
